What motivated you to really learn Creole?
Build relationships through verbal communication with friends in Gens de Nantes, Haiti.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to learn Haitian Creole?
Just do it! One word, one day at a time. And find a friend to practice with, it sure makes it easier to have a conversation with someone else!
What’s been the biggest benefit for you personally since learning to communicate in Creole?
I will be more confident going back to Haiti later this spring. It is good to use the grey matter God gave me to learn something new and useful.
