What motivated you to really learn Creole?
I really wanted to increase my fluency to communicate better with my Haitian patients and when I travel abroad on service trips to Haiti.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to learn Haitian Creole?
Always seek out opportunities to practice the language and don\’t be afraid to make mistakes!
What’s been the biggest benefit for you personally since learning to communicate in Creole?
My kids want to learn to speak it as well.
