What motivated you to really learn Creole?
I work with a program in the Dominican Republic that does radiation treatment for Haitian children with cancer.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to learn Haitian Creole?
Learning Creole enables you to communicate with the people you work with on a whole new level – DO IT!!
What’s been the biggest benefit for you personally since learning to communicate in Creole?
I have been able to develop a closer relationship with the families that come here in a time where there are so many unknowns, which is very comforting for them.
