What motivated you to really learn Creole?
I want to be able to talk to the people working in the orphanage when I visit my child for the 1st time.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to learn Haitian Creole?
I’d encourage people from other countries than U.S. to start learning from English to Creole because there are no books or other opportunities from e.g. German to Creole.
What’s been the biggest benefit for you personally since learning to communicate in Creole?
I just started a week ago, so I really can’t say – maybe that I had to repeat some english words I thought I knew for sure, but when it came to the exact meaning I had to look them up.
