What motivated you to really learn Creole?
I am motivated to learn Creole in order to better connect with my Haitian students and friends.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to learn Haitian Creole?
One needs to be surrounded by the language and hear it and use it constantly.
What’s been the biggest benefit for you personally since learning to communicate in Creole?
The biggest benefit has been the deeper connections I have been able to establish with my students and friends of Haitian descent.
