What motivated you to really learn Creole?
I want to be able to return to Haiti and interact without relying on others to translate.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to learn Haitian Creole?
Make time to listen to people speak Creole; it’s not enough to just practice with pen and paper.
What’s been the biggest benefit for you personally since learning to communicate in Creole?
I can now interact and connect with the people directly instead of relying on a translator.
